Naples residents are eligible for Naples beach permits. The cost of the permits is included in the property taxes paid by residents. A Naples beach permit sticker can be picked up by Collier County residents at any community center in the county parks. The Naples beach permit stickers are placed inside the front view windows on the driver’s side and near the dashboard. They can be placed on rental cars or your Naples car but cannot be moved from one car to another as they must remain with the car that the sticker was registered to originally. You’ll have to prove your residency at the time that you pick up the sticker. A Florida driver’s license and Florida vehicle registration is required to get the free sticker.
Without a beach parking permit, it can cost $8.00 for a parking fee at the beach. Visitors are also able to buy an annual beach parking permit for $50 which covers 12 months of parking from the time of purchase. It’s for visitor and part-time residents who do not own property in Collier County.
There are so many wonderful beaches to visit in Naples and Collier County and with a Naples beach permit, they’re all open and available to you at no additional cost. While the cost of parking and paying is not cost prohibitive, if you’re a Naples property owner, it’s well worth the few minutes that it takes to go and pick one up. You’ll then be able to go from Old Naples to Venetian Village, Clam Pass Beach to Vanderbilt Beach and never worry about parking the car. One less thing to worry about and more time to enjoy the Naples lifestyle and relax.
