Pelican Marsh is a gorgeous gated community with over 2000 acres and 133 acres of natural preserves. The amenities include a community center, tennis facility and golf club. The private 18 hole par 72 equity championship golf course community without mandatory golf memberships. There are a maximum of 350 memberships and the fees for membership are $50,000 for golf with annual dues of $13,800 and a social membership of $9,000 with annual dues of $4,400 with limited golf. There are also additional fees for food and beverage minimums as well. The golf course was opened in 1994 and designed by Robert Von Hagge. There are no caddies but there is a practice range. In addition, the course enjoys robust reciprocals with other local clubs.
