I have recently had the pleasure of working with Mike and Anna to purchase my first house. There really are no words to describe how valuable this duo is in home buying. I found Mike and Anna through a close friend who was selling two properties and buying a house. He could not stop raving about them so I called.
Mike spent the time with me on the phone discussing specifics for the home I wanted. Within hours I had a list of houses that matched my description perfectly (I am very picky). When I picked out houses I was interested in. Mike went a step further to write back information about the houses (HOA fees, hidden fees, school district, recent houses he sold in area, based on his experience how much I could get house for, resale value of the development and the list goes on) it was very obvious that time, energy, and a great deal of thought was put into each house I was interested in. This allowed me to further filter my interest into smaller categories.
When it came time to look at properties, they again surpassed all of my expectations. Mike is very proactive in determining all goals with buying house and one of mine is resale value. He searched the houses even more than I did and being a first time home buyer pointed out benefits and negatives to each house and community.
I choose the house I wanted and this is when Anna works her organizing magic. It honestly feels as though you are there only client when I personally know they are a popular duo. I pride myself on staying on top of paperwork, forms, etc. But both Anna and Mike made sure everything was complete and accurate. They ensured the seller and realtor did not make unfair request and you can tell they would have not have stood for it. I knew at all times they had my best interest at heart. As an example my loan officer for lack of better terms was less than stellar. This caused me stress because I was constantly double checking all his work and finding mistakes. Anna had me send her any paperwork I was unsure of and also stayed on top of my loan officer. This was clearly not in her job description but did it since I knew very little of what he needed to actually do she improved this situation.
Anna has an organizational packet for everything you can think of as it pertains to buying a house to all the annoying paperwork you don’t think of…ie (home owners insurance, utilities, HOA, etc).
The closing was perfect and now I have my dream home. And two people I’m proud to call friends.
